Personal Information

I like working on technically challenging projects, usability is important to me and I’d like to do more analysis in my next job, specifically measuring the success of the website and social media marketing.

Hobbies and interests

Macro photography, hiking, jewellery making, leather work, gaming, reading books on the natural sciences.

Personal projects

I recently moved back to South Africa after living in Europe for 9 years. I resided in Germany for the past two years where I did not hold formal employment due the language barrier.
While I lived in Germany I made and sold jewellery. I gained a practical understanding of client requirements for social media and marketing because I used these techniques and platforms to market my own company. I also keep up to date with the evolution of the Internet, and run a few websites using blog frameworks – WordPress – and CMS tools, such as Drupal.

Personal websites:

  • protonode (this website recently relaunched) a blog on digital project management and planning
  • Tangentine– website and blog for my jewellery business
